In this class, we will develop an understanding of different rhetorical situations, concepts, and audience expectations necessary to progressing successfully towards scholarly, personal, and professional goals.

We will strive to reach these goals through coursework that will introduce new ways of thinking about writing, that will promote individual improvements as writers, and that will increase confidence in the approach and undertaking of scholarly reading and writing.
