Write a 2-3 page essay that examines some aspect of gender identity (femininities and/or masculinities) in the literary works that we have read since the last essay. Be aware that you must make some sort of argument regarding how gender identity effects larger concerns within the work (theme etc.).  Although you may use the work we have done in class as a starting point, DO NOT simply regurgitate class discussion of your text.

Rough Draft Due Thursday, March 29th

Final Draft Due Tuesday, April 3rd

If you want to meet with me, please do so as soon as possible because I will not meet with anyone the day before an essay is due.
