Write a 2-3 page essay that does a new critical reading of a text that we have read or will read before the essay is due. In this essay, you should use literary devices to support your argument that the text conveys a certain theme. Although you may use the work we have done in class as a starting point, DO NOT simply regurgitate class discussion of your text.

Rough Draft Due (don't forget to print out the Peer Review Questions): Tuesday, September 18th

Final Draft Due: Thursday, September 20th

If you want to meet with me, please do so as soon as possible because I will not meet with anyone the day before an essay is due.
