Essay 1 Assignment: Literacy Narrative (Narration and Description)

Write a 2-3 page (at least one line on the 3rd page) narrative of a specific experience where the role of writing and/or reading changed in your life. This experience can be, but is not limited to, a school experience. The essay should both describe the experience as well as narrate its effects on your life. I will be looking for a well-organized narrative with a well-thought thesis and, of course, vivid and detailed description.

Rough Draft due (peer review -- don't forget to print out the peer review questions): Thursday, September 20th

Final Draft due: Tuesday, September 25th

If you want to meet with to discuss your paper, please do so as soon as possible because I will not meet with anyone the day before the paper is due.
