Travelogue

From June 14th until September 15th of 2004, I was in England doing research for my dissertation. In the travelogue below, I have recorded my trials and tribulations as a tourist and a researcher.

As you will notice, the travelogue is incomplete. Although I do plan to finish it, I am concentrating dissertation work at present.

  • Installment One -- The Flight Over; Or why Delta is evil and Virgin Atlantic is the best airline ever

  • Installment Five -- Fish and Chips: Random Observations about London and Londoners

  • Installment Seven -- Lisa Trods the Boards of the London Stage (or at least sees the boards being trod)

  • Installment Eight -- Lisa as Tourist I: The National Portrait Gallery, St. Martins-in-the-Fields, and Oleanna

  • Installment Nine -- Lisa as Tourist II: Covent Garden (The Transport Museum and the National Theatre Museum)

  • Installment Ten -- Lisa as Tourist III: A Lesson About Traveling and Kew Gardens

  • Installment Twelve -- Lisa as Tourist V: Sir John Soane's Museum, the Museum of London, and the Guildhall Art Gallery
